Western red cedar groves can be particularly inviting on hot summer days in Montana west of the Continental Divide, as temperatures are often 10 to 20 degrees cooler here. Soaring to heights of 150 to 175 feet and with diameters ranging from two to eight feet, these trees can also live for 1,000 years. This image looks gorgeous as a larger format hand-signed print, alongside larger, signed images of “Cedar Sentinel” and “Old and New Growth”.
