Hard Times

Many well-preserved and not-so-well-preserved buildings grace the landscape at Garnet Ghost Town in western Montana, with discoveries and surprises awaiting in nearly every dwelling. I loved this particular structure’s indoor run-down state, with sunlight streaming in through gaps in the logs, most of an old stove precariously still standing, and the stove top’s brand plate, “Economy”, sitting on the dusty, dirt floor.
