Glacier’s Logan Pass is one of Big Sky Country’s snowiest places. Usually the pass opens to motorized vehicles by late June and closes by mid-October, but even then be prepared for rapidly changing conditions that may very well could include snow, even in mid-summer. I highly recommend taking the free in-park shuttle buses to the pass and other popular destinations, so you can savor the scenery, get off and back on the bus when you like, and leave the narrow, winding mountain road driving to someone else.
