A Wyoming native told me that this photo couldn’t actually have been taken in “The Cowboy State”, because the lone tree wasn’t bowled over by the wind. It’s hard not to be bowled over by Wyoming’s stunning natural beauty, landscapes, and wide-ranging wildlife. Sadly, many such areas have been destroyed-or face destruction-due to unbridled efforts to develop natural gas, coal, coalbed methane, and other non-renewable energy in this natural resource rich state.
