Resilience

Merriam Webster’s online dictionary defines  resilience as “an ability to recover from or adjust easily to misfortune or change.” The contrast between sun and shadow and dark and light on this lone tree caught my eye on a recent Yellowstone journey, as did its unwavering ability to adapt and thrive as conditions and seasons shift over time.
